Hi Berk, I don't think the problem is in the script or vtk file, because I have done many test.
I use a cluster type Beowulf with diskless via nfs. Only the master has disk-dur. I see that the problem is nfs. I tried to make the vtk file in a ramdisk but I have always the problem, sometime it run fine sometime not. I had done a test without diskless, it run fine. But I would like to install paraview on this cluster (32 PC with 4cpu each) Somebody have a idea on what is the probleme ? And how I can to solve my probleme ? Thanks in advance for your kind help. Hi Jona, If I were to make a guess, I would say that the file caching done by the OS is why your script runs sometimes faster. I see a huge difference in performance when loading a large file the second time in ParaView. It is hard to say more without having the data and the script. -berk On Thu, Jul 30, 2009 at 4:46 AM, BOUSSOIR Jonathan 167706<jonathan.bouss...@cea.fr> wrote: > > Hi all, > > I am work with Paraview (3.6.1) and with linux. > I can see something trouble when I launch my Python script on the cluster. > I have never seen the same time for the same work. > Sometime I have about 4 seconds or sometime I have about 18 seconds.
