If I load cgns files with vector fields and own defined field names, no vector
visualisation representation is possible. All vector components are treated
like single scalar fields.
Is it, because of the self defined non CGNS standard field names or is it a non
implement feature of the CGNS data
You can use the calculator to group arrays together to make a vector field.
Assuming the three arrays are labelled "X", "Y", and "Z" the expressions is
X*iHat+Y*jHat+Z*kHat.
