Hi,
I compiled ParaView 3.6.1 (using tag 'ParaView3_6') and cannot find the
tube-filter in Menu->Filter->Alphabetic.
If I compile ParaView 3.7 (using tag 'ParaView3) the tube-filter is
available.
I hope that's only a bug in ParaView 3.6.1

I would like to see a "Search"-Funktion, which can handle keywords and
(more important) which can give me a hint how to transform my data, so
it will be accepted by the desired filter.

where you can seach for filters/sources using their names. So in your
case, as you start typing "tube" you should see the "Generate Tubes"
filter listed.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I was always wondering how could we
make this obvious. I guess the solution was just as obvious! :). Will

Why was the name of the Tube filter changed to Generate Tubes? I don't like
the new name because it is harder to find in the alphabetical list (as Jens
demonstrated). I noticed this before but forgot to report it. Can we change
the name back to what it was or at least to start with the name T
I think Berk changed that so that it becomes an action so that the
python scripts seem nicer. I have no preference either ways. In any
case, we definitely need to make the searching functionality more
explicit.
