I think this was a known bug that was fixed. I looked in the bug tracker, and
couldn't find it. Try removing your configuration files - I believe this can
cause your problem.

animation larger and smaller than my window,
Thanks for your suggestions. I wasn't able to get any of them to work in
3.14.1, so I just upgraded. Now everything works fine! Many thanks.
