Hi Ronald, suitably refreshed I'll answer your questions.
Apologies to the list moderator, but my emailer doesn't display
Ronald's address, so I can't email him off-list. Actually as it's a
reasonably long reply, I'll ask someone or Ronald himself to send me

Hank,
Originally, I had paid $299 after a $40 rebate which took months to get. I
think all of these units are discontinued now as they have been replaced
with newer models that do not work with the RockBox firmware. Finding one
on Ebay may be the only way to go if you want to buy one.

Sorry, couldn't tell you as my unit is not the recorder model. It is
strictly a player.

Well, we can keep this as brief as possible, all you have to do is just use
the Nero Wizzard. If you're burning an audio cd, choose audio cd. if you're
burning a backup of your computer or other audio files like mp3s, wavs or
anything else, choose data. Lets keep it simple.

Hi Chris, I actually have the Nero manuals as text files, and I wanted
to, and have now sent him those.

Well,
Of course this would depend on if he has version 5.5 of Nero, as Ver 6 does
not have a wizzard. I really wish it did.

I have been asked to post this question.
Is there a way to increase and reduce the sensitivity of a headset microphone using
the keys? Or do you have to rely on the control panel that seems to only be
controlled by a mouse?
I've got someone here who wants to know the answer.
Being new to cd burning, what is the difference between a music file on my
hard drive and an image file? Thank you.

Cindy, you are going to have more editing functions in the pro edition. you know I

Please excuse the delay in the response.
First, the recorder V2 is thinner and smaller than the player. It has ten
buttons instead of six, it has the lithium-ion battery pack, and I believe
the only size you can get one in is 20 GB. The FM recorder and recorder V2
