Hi folks! Not sure how to this applies to pc-audio, so please excuse me for it
may be a little off topic. I'll just ask this simple question. I'm looking
for an XM radio that is user friendly for the blind. I'd also like one that
has a head phone plug in it, and is portable. Any
I can find it in Advanced. It is called Disable popup windows and comes
just before set default when you tab through the options.

Hey all.
I bought iriver ifp-799 usb flash mp3 player. Its features are very good and
its quite easy to learn how to work with it as a blidn user. However i got
into a problem by using iriver music manager program, which can transfer
files from the pc in to a player and from a player into a pc.
Gary,
I'm hoping that's true, will know later today, smile.

Andrew! This INCD doesn't sound like a file but like a program. In
fact according to Google there is an INCD program associated with Nero.
Look under Add or Remove Programs under the Control Panel for a program
named INCD and remove that.

Yes, that's true. If you burn a data disc using nero it will treat every
file type equally and burn it to disc. However, if you wish to burn an
audio CD from WMA files, you need a plug in for nero to do this in one step.

Hi Scott.
Only advice I can give is take another look. I uninstalled media player 10
a couple of months ago when I found it conflicting with my MP3 player
software. It simply asked me if I wished to rollback to media player 9
which I did successfully.

Hi Scott.
Unfortunately, I don't think you can delete WMP 10 Mate. I attempted this
before and ended up having to do a Factory Restore. Hope I'm wrong and you
get it off your system okay.
Best wishes.

Is the 340 the one Rockbox will eventually work with? Is it smaller in size
then the Archos? Does it have a radio? Can you copy files to the IRiver the
same way that you copy from the Archos?

what drop down menu file are you refering to?
if you have removed nero from your PC,
then there should not be a folder in program files called Ahead.

Hi All,
Which site is best for downloading books and other materials for the
PlexTalk? I know Audible will not play on it, but could you convert an
Audible file to BRF and then play it on the PlexTalk?
If not what are some of the other sites which will work? I believe NLS
books will play on
Hi Lister,
I wonder how you can do a repair on real one player? I have this problem
with mine not playing dvd's and cd's, but real one player will play when I
log onto blind radio, but wmp doesn't play on blind radio, but it plays
dvd's and cd's, strange as it may seem what can I do? Dave
What I do is get talking books from my library. I rip the CD's to MP3 format
using Nero. I copy the talking book to my 4 GHZ mini drive and play it in
the plextalk.

Hi all.
I've just created a web page with all of my favourite radio stations on it.
However, when I click on one of these, I get a welcome page from Windows
Media Player. I'd like to play all these stations through Winamp. Can
anyone please advise me how to tell internet explorer to choose
Hi Andy,
You should be able to tell WinAmp to play your stations.
You should be able to do this from the preferences in WinAmp.
Likewise, you should be able to go into the options, or preferences of
Windows Media Player,
and de-select what you don't want it to play.

Just go into the options of WMP and unselect CD and DVD in the associated
file types and then check them in the realplayer preferences.

Hi
As has been said a lot of times on the Winamp list I run, sometimes, it's
just better to let the default media player handle it. Yes I know that's
not the answer you want to hear, but I've done a whole lot of research on
it, and while it's possible to do, you have to do a whole lot of work
Look in radio shack or best buy or for xm 2 go.
Its a little walkman thing. I do not have one yet but I've heard of them. 350
bucks or around there because you get accessories with it too.

Much as I am tempted, I've decided to take a pass on satellite radio for a
year or so, because I fully expect the hardware to come down in price. Also,
I have to admit that part of me is against the whole concept in principle
because it's yet another body blow to AM radio, but then again I'm a
Yeah, Kevin. I know what you mean. It seems a shame to have to pay for
good radio! I think, eventually the hardware will come down in price.

Satellite radio for me is the best entertainment buy I've ever made.
Nothing on AM or FM even comesclose.
Having a chance to tap into 60 commercial free music styles, plus over 3
dozen talk formats is a real eye-opener.
I spent $50 for one radio, and $49 for the other one.
