tv tuner card issues

I just bought an Airlink 101 tv tuner/vidio capture card yesterday. Apparently the pvr plus software which came with it does not seem to be accessible, or rather when I try working the TVR portion of it, my speech disappears. Furthermore, apparently, the video kind of moves in almost a still f

i am using the total recorder pro 5.1 and jaws and window eyes should i install the total recorder driver or do i really need it. when i installed the driver that total recorder said that is recomanded i got a lot of stack when trying to record an internet stream. so do i really need that driver?
