Try audio converter 5.1 You can use it as freeware but it is limited inits
scope. If you get the licensed copy you will be able to convert most
anything you want.

You say you worked a couple of items with success, which to me implies
you were able to start the program at one time. This is unclear.
The other thing I can tell you is that IPodder is only for XP or
Windows 2000. If you are not running either of these o/s's, that
could be your major problem
MP3Mate is good, too.

Merging tracks when ripping with CDEX
1.. Start CDEX and load the audio CD.
2.. Press tab until you reach the list of tracks.

I am attempting to open a podcast called the daily source code in Sound
forge 8. This is a standard mp3 file. Sound Forge will play about 2 seconds
of the file and then just stops. I can open other mp3 files just fine. Does
anybody have any idea what might be keeping Sound Forge from
