Plextor hopes to release the PTR2 at the end of November. You can find more information at www.plextalk.com. I don't know, what it will cost. But it will proberbly be more expensive then the Edirol R1 or the Microtrack. BTW: There are great reviews of the two last mentioned recorders at www.blindc

The Edirol R1 does not resume. One doesn't hear sound when fast forwarding or rewinding either. So its not good for listening to spoken word MP3 or Wave files. I'd consider the new PTR2 from Plextor. It would be good to have someone do a review on the Microtrack and the R-1 respectively. I personally am leaning toward the R-1 machine. I like the idea of the AA batteries instead of the lithium cell. I need to know if the recorders have resume capabilities too! __

A real problem with soundforge 5

That's the version I have. I haven't used it in a long time. Today, I launched it, and it asked for my serial number, which, fortunately, I had. Next it wanted to give me some activation code which required going to the net. No go!! I kept getting "retry" and finally hit Cancel. I think it'
