Hello to the list.

I have some old tapes and records that I want to put on to cd.
So, I had the same questions a couple of weeks ago.
What I did:

Go to http://www.goldwave.com/ and download and install the latest trial
Heaps of software around to do what you want and at very reasonable

Our local newspaper had a run-down and review of ten such products a

Hi Ted
As you probably know Cool Edit was taken over by Adobe and became Audition.
There are are scripts for Cool Edit 2 and 2.1 as well as Audition. Can you
tell me which you need and if I can't find the site I'll send them on to
you.
Take care.

No, it just uses a couple of recorded files to read menus and spell file
and directory names. One can also create prompts, so that certain file
and directory names aren't just spelled
Hi all, it never occurred to me, but if your winamp library will not
search, try moving your mouse pointer to one of the catagories, and
left clicking, and then, your search results will be available. I
never thought of this, until somebody pointed this out on the winamp

Anyone know if this can be done? I've looked around in Real Player

Thanks

Hi Steve, the trick here is not to press the tab key in the patching
software. For some reason that upsets it. Use your screen reader's mouse
keys and all is groovy.

I don't think it will do that. From what I read on the Rockbox site (some 8

all recorded audio files and No TTS will be loaded on to the device. Also

Rockbox does three things in speech. It reads menus, it spells or speaks
file names, and it spells and
