hi folks
I finally did it! Registering PowerGramo, the program to record skype calls
took me quite a while.
To say this was an arduous task is an understatement. The program itself
works very well after it's registered, but registering it is quite a
chore. The thing
Hi Chris
Just a suggestion. Did you not think of virtualising the current window with
control insert W, selecting the number and copying to the clipboard or did
that not work?

hey dude, the new free version I just downloaded will record both sides of
the skype call.
Btw, if you're in skype, try hiting
control incert w. that will make a virtual copy of the jaws window.
I downloaded the free version of it, and it now does record both sides of
the call and will let
Hello Chris,
On Wednesday, January 4, 2006, 5:26:37 AM, you bellowed the following:
with JAWS 7, the only way to read skype chat messages is to use your JAWS
cursor.
Couldn't you just have virtualized the window and copied the text to the
clipboard?
This should work, in theory.

Hi Patrick. That was the very first idea I had. You're correct in theory,
it should work, but in this case, I guess the text and the virtual buffer
just weren't cooperating!
The text simply would not appear in the virtual buffer. So much for that
idea. Good thought though.
Anyways, I do have
Hi,
This is some times the problem with the movies themselves. It's the design of
the dvd that causes this problem.
And to make it worse the film industry don't have a standadized way of
designing these menus.
Some times you have a play movie as the top option and that's good, but in

It's a nice lil program.
Hi Nolan,
when using the noise reduction plug in you are supposed to record some of
the material with know speech (the tape hiss) so the program will know what
you want to filter out. I find it works well. I don't know how to minimize
the cross talk. Maybe someone can tell us.
Regards,
Judy
The forward and back button only advances you by chapter. You can get where
you're going it will just take more time than those able to go directly to a
chapter. If you could scan the matterial that comes with the dvd to find
out what chapter starts you may be able to key in the chapter number.

As mentioned before that depends on the dvd itself. I'll give a perfect
example of two different tv series which have a completely different
structure. First is Friends. The way all ten seasons are set up is just
the way you would like. You start
Hi. as I said previously, for whatever reason, that didn't seem to work.
It only seemed to copy part of the window, but not the area where the
registration key was located. In theory it should work, but you know about
theory sometimes, smile. I've never had much luck with skype chat, but
I have gotten so irritated by the variations in DVD format and my inability
to get any kind of common hold on how my DVD player works I have turned to
watching them on my PC. At least this way JAWS will read the menus and I
can eventually figure out where I want to go.

Hi Folks:
Is there a preference between WinDvd, PowerDvd and Windows Media as far as
accessibility is concerned?
Is there other options out there? I've tried VLC however, I find that the
program is not that responsive.
Thanks all over the place gang.
My view is that the challenge of figuring out the DVD is half the fun.

I'm sure you are talking about Jaws reading the menus of the player

actual menus of a dvd itself unless something new has been invented

I'd suggest you ask that question there, as it's a very specialized script,
