Since version 3.0 the skype chat window did not read properly with the Jaws
scripts. Has this been fixed now?

So far, I've heard that there can be a problem with error recovery when
ripping and that the various products can vary in this regard.

Reed! I've always used the free CD Extractor / CDEX for ripping. If
you rip at 1411 KBPS you're getting no compression, that's as good as it
gets.
Most people will want some compression. It's a trade off between
storage space and quality. Storage space is inversely proportional to KBP
I believe they are both included. Definitely Replay Converter is included.
