ASUS laptops good for recording?

Hello, is there an accessible program for creating shows with voice overs? I know that I need a multytrack, but... what? I tryed NTrack, but it seems to be inaccessible, with Adobe audition I've problems aggiusting volumes... a simple solution? Thanks in advance. Audio List Help, Guidelines,
