Is there a specific reason why you're looking to use I-Tunes? As far as I
know, it's very difficult if not impossible to use - typical apple product

Hi Steve,
What environment do you want this clock read in Braille? I mean will you
want it on your pac mate, PC etc. If PC, I could find out how to get Jaws
to do this as it has been done before I believe. This would mean also the
script could be ported to the pac mate. But I'm not really
For years I've thought it would be nice to have a simple
little clock with a braille display. I wore out two of the
mechanical ones produced by Science for the Blind products.
Very valuable for a blind broadcaster for getting into a
network, back timing songs etc.
Hope braille displays
If you have a spare $10,000 you could get a Braille Note which can display
the time by second.
Perhaps a lazy 2 grand could be increased to $10,00 by backing the Hawks for
premiers.

The BrailleNote 18 cell is less than $10,000. Another option is an old
braille 'n Speak with a count down timer and stop watch.
It's not really a an expensive problem to solve.

I've downloaded the stand alone synthasizer and it's fairly accesible with
Window Eyes 6.1. They seem to be using standard Windows controls for menus,
sliders, scrolbars, etc. Don't know if the aplication hosts VST plug-ins
though.
I think you mean the Octimax plug in.
It was sold by Octiv Inc. but I think it has been superseded by the Volume
Logic plug in.

Why not get a talking countdown timer and modify it so that your cue side of
