You can pick up a lense cleaner just about anywhere these days. It's no more
than a plastic disc just like a CD, but it has a tiny soft brush underneath
that swipes across the lense.
I've seen them with a thin strip brush going from end to end on a disc, just
one end going from cente

When I encountered it, I found that it mint that there was something wrong
with the CDRW drive.
The laser lens maybe dirty or there maybe some kind of a technical problem
going on with it.
