Is it possible to use the Streem FX plugin with Foobar 2000? This is a
surround sound processor I like a lot.

Hi Dana,
Yes, Winamp will play these files with the correct plug-in installed.
If you haven't found it yet the plug-in for Winamp can be found at
www.wavpack.com/downloads.html. Also lots of information about the
Wavpack format can be found on the Wavpack home page at www.wavpack.com.
I hope
Thank you!

I take it from this that Winamp will play these files directly, if one has
installed the plug-in mentioned below; even as Winamp plays .flac files,

contrary?
Thanks.

I think the stream has a slight edge for playing music too. it seems to me
that some of the highs are not quite as pronounced on the plextalk as
opposed to the stream. I have to conduct more test.

Hi Jim, Bruce and all,
Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I'm interested in the
same comparison from a different angle.
As well as Music, how do the two machines compare when
playing daisy books or MP3 audio files?

I believe that the stream is just a little more responsive than the PTT-1
when moving back and forth through music folders. I haven't found a way to
random play files either.

At the moment, the Stream supports more file formats than does the
Plextalk. That may well change. The stream also has a longer battery
life. I don't know if the Plextalk can support play lists and so on. If
it can't, I've no doubt it will at some point in the future.

Hi Folks:
Does anyone know how the new Plextalk PTP1 stacks up against the Victor Stream
when playing music?
Any help would be appreciated all over the place.

I actually like this new MaPlEr.
The only major enhancement I would like to see (the thing that will convince
