I realise it may be a bit off topic but have a look at the web page-

It may be of interest to old time radio fans.

Hi John,
Thanks much for your suggestions. The file type selection box was the
problem. And, frankly, I don't understand because I have checked that
thing several times in the past. But when I went to look tonight, the
darn thing was not checked.
Again, thanks.

Hello Don,
This should fix the problem.
Have one of your files highlighted by having the curser pointing at it.
Hit the application key and scroll up to properties.
Tab over to the change button.
It should give you a choice of programs to open it with.
If Winamp is on the list, then have the curse
Hello Don and anyone else interested: As far as I can tell, there are no
"Eddie Stubbs" programs archived! In fact, I would guess that..even if
there were some, it'd be hard to access them easily! I've written to WSM
about this..but so far, they don't seem to be doing anything about this

Does anyone know whether there remain any archives of the Eddy Stubbs
programs, either the Saturday morning program from WSM, or the Sunday
program from WAMU?
Thanks for ideas.

I have posted this problem in the past but have not found a solution.
I am presently using Winamp 5.57 although the below problem has been
present with the more recent versions of Winamp, not just 5.57.
None of the recent versions of Winamp will play .wav files on this XP
home system. I just t
High Bob,
The highest I'll ever turn it up, is about 5 or 6 watts.
I will use the rubber ducky antenna for now, because that's all I need.
I don't think I should have any problem picking my music upon a portable
stereo receiver at the park at all!
But I'll find out when I get it and set it up, I'
Any help for this?
Other files seem to play fine.
Thanks.

I doubt it. There ought to be though. Trouble is, there would be that
many lists we wouldn't know which one(s) to join . We can talk
about it on PC-Audio though surely.

You may have installed the full, including the Winamp Modern Skin
support. You can change the skin with ctrl+p for preferences or ctrl+k
to jump to the skins category.

I've just installed winamp 5.58 on a machine using what I suppose to be the
classic skin; however, it looks nothing like the previously used classic
skin. Is there a way to give 5.58 the classic feel: or am I forced to go
back to a previous version?

Hi Gang,
I got the message below from the blind hams list. As this has to do with an
accessible broadcast HD radio I thought I'd post it here.
Dave
Several months ago, someone on this list asked about an accessible HD
Radio.
I replied that such a unit was on the horizon, but that I could not

Well, in that case I say go for the mor powerful larger unit for the small
difference in price , you won't be disappointed! Even Dave is pleased with
the unit that he purchased, and said that by removing the rubber ducky, and
hooking up the unit to an external antenna the sky is the limit! Keep
Hello Bob,
Dave did call me back.
He told me that I could put a buffer amplifier that has vacuum tubes in it
between the transmitter and the mixer.
I told hem that I'd like to hear whatever I got playing on the computer or
what I have dialed upon the satellite dish receiver.
But however, I want to
