Last night, after hearing someone making favorable comments on the Hope
program, that gives you access to Pandora via a PC, I decided to buy it. I
really like it. One thing I've done is to copy and paste artist and title
information from the program into Amazon, and if it's a song I'd

1. Is this access to Pandora program in any way tied to a particular screen
reader?
2. Is anyone outside the US accessing the site and all it's services?

I can't answer your question about using this software outside the U.S., but
I can answer the one about Hope being screen reader dependent. I think it
will work well with any screen reader. I use JAWS 12, but I don't think the

You may have a problem if the external drive goes into standbye mode
as some of them do. The spin-up process, then the reading process
may as has been mentioned, rely for smoothe audio results depend on
some player buffering.
You can probably set a reasonable size cache on the external drive

I'm not a windows media guru, but I suggest that you get a handle on
winamp. There's lots of support on this list, and keyboard shortcuts
in abundance.
Here are some windows media keyboard shortcuts, Don't know if they
work with all versions of the player.

Count me in as well. Haven't heard mine since the middle of April,
when I had to rebuild my computer's software from the ground up. Had
to reinstall everything, went to sounds and audio devices, looked at
all the right stuff, but still have none of the Windows sound. I've

I think I remember you live in the UK. A friend in England reported that his
visit to Pandora brought up a message saying it is so far unavailable there.
On this list, Roger suggested trying a proxy server to overcome national
boundaries. It's been a while, but when I looked into that
