.rar files are compressed archives, similar to .zip files. You should be able to download them just like you would any file. The trick is how to extract the files from the archive. I'd suggest 7-Zip, which you can download from http://www.7-zip.org/download.html. It's free. On 15/10/11 21:38,

No, you'll have to use Firefox or Internet Explorer to download the .rar file just like you would any other file. Click on the link to download the file, make sure you go through the dialogs to have the file saved and know where it is going to be located on your hard drive. Then you can use 7-Zip
