What is there, in the procedure I sent you, that does not deal with your problem?

I've told you how to save mono files as the default setting in goldwave. Is that not what you wanted?

Your original problem was, that you had to manually fix the saving options for mono files.

I sent you the procedure for making the default save option for file saving mono.
That wwas what you wanted, or have I missed something.

Just revert the save options for stereo when you want to do a run of stereo recordings.

I don't see a goldwave glitch at all, seems to work in this area exactly as you would expect.
