accessible converting program

Hi there, I'd like to know if anyone can recommend a simple but effective and accessible program that can take a wav music file and convert it to mp3 or the other way around as well. I'm in need of something sooner than later. Thanks. Jim

hello folks, Randy here. I'm curious as to know, do any of you still use media player classic to play dvd's? for some reason, when I try to do for example alt plus n to go to this or that...some of it says unavailable..It was a good player..what gives here?

Yes, often. Gives no trouble at all. When you say unavailable, do you mean MPC produces that message or that what you select isn't available? Often some options will be greyed out if the function isn't available. I'm using version 1.7.7. -- rgds LAurence
