but the user folder you set-up is public by default you can turn
public off and assign full access, read only access or deny access.

Ah sorry, no I've turned all the share folders to private and I assign
access rights for users to each folder.
Each user - by default - has their own folder on the drive as well as
access to any share you wish to assign them to.
