The rumour is that Apple will rid the iPhone 7 of the Headphone jack. Its an issue that doesn't worry me all that much as I already use Bluetooth with my iPhone, I have a DAC unit I can plug standard headphones into anyway which gives far better audio quality than comes from the Apple headphon

You mean delay was an issue with Bluetooth headphones? Thankfully this has improved beyond recognition. I use Bluetooth all the time with my hearing Instruments. Delay was never a serious problem with them, the manufacturers implemented Bluetooth well but there's absolutely no delay now so t
