something odd with allofmp3 explorer. Weird.

You can still use allofmp3 explorer. I think they're starting to
push alltunes though. I find it horrible to use. I do have the set
up files for allofmp3 explorer and I'd be happy to send them to you off list.

Is Alltunes not as easy to use as Allofmp3 Explorer? Can one still use
Allofmp3 Explorer with the service?
I wrote to them but haven't heard back
You have to go to the take tour link.

Hi, Andre. What I do in regard to all of mp3, is I use the actual web
site to brows and order stuff, and then I run the explorer program
when I'm ready to have them downloaded. That's the best way for us as
blind people.

Hi, Andre and all: I use alofmp3 Explorer as well and find that the easiest
way for me to use it is to go to the Help menu in allofmp3 explorer and arrow
down to the allofmp3 Home page and clicking on that. When you request your
files from the allofmp3 home page while you still have allofmp3
Yes, Patrick, that is correct. My feeling is that
allofmp3 is run entirely on a unix-based system
and as you say, using quotation marks doesn't
always resolve the issues with space chars in
file names - get the number of quote marks wrong and you're stuck!

the underscores are there for a reason - they're
a useful tool for maintaining filename integrity
on commandline operating systems such as the Unix family.

All I do is go to the website, select the order
this album link, go thru the motions there, and
when I open my allofmp3 explorer the album immediatly starts downloading.

I found it fairly useable with Window-eyes but it was easier for me to just

That's why I was thinking that allofmp3 explorer might make things easier by
doing it automatically?

Hello André,
Right, but underscores don't break pronunciation by speech synthesizers,
unless you've got a really messed up system.
In some command-line operating systems, you can put the file name in
quotes and maintain spaces, but they don't all work like this.
