Goldwave and Windows Media Center

I'm interested in given Goldwave a try on a new Windows XP Media Center computer. I ran into major trouble when I tried to load a copy of Roxio Easy CD Creater and I'm hoping to avoid the same kind of problems. Does anyone have experience working with the combination of Goldwave and Windows XP
