Thanks - will look at some of these issues.

This little receiver covers from 200 KHz to about 3 GHz all the way so it
would be nice to get the frequency readout through speech and be able to use
the receiver at the same time.  A friend of mine told me to switch off the
screen as this can be one of the m main sources of interference.  It
definitely does make a difference.
