Subject: Getting Re-acquainted With My EdirolR09

Hello, All!

Dave and I will be leaving this Sunday for a special, once-in-a-lifetime
trip to Europe where we will spend three-and-a-half weeks with friends in
Britain, possibly my relatives in Ireland, and Dave's brother-in-law touring
Switzerland, France, and Germany. We will be spending several days in
Madrid before returning home.

Ok, what does this have to do with audio? Well, I obviously want to get as
many good recordings as I possibly can. I bought the Edirol R09 a couple of
years ago and had some success with it but put it away for a time. I have
now forgotten a lot about it, and understand there has been at least one
update since I bought the unit.

About a year ago someone on a list, I believe this one, posted information
about the update and was very excited about encouraging other blind people
to use it despite some of its less than accessible features.

I would love to know if anyone remembers this post, and would also
appreciate a source for the downloaded update. I checked edirol.com but
seemed to find myself in a list of links containing ads for everything from
computer software to mortgages. Not now! <sigh>

I would appreciate any information anyone can provide.

As always, thanks in advance.

Pam
