Hi Joe,
from your first message, I understood that the tracks started out in sync, but
drifted out of sync after a time. Is this the case? If the tracks are out of
sync by the same amount throughout the tracks, then there's a latency
correction within audacity which you can set.
David.
Hi,
I hope you're using the latest audacity 2.05 when working with this stuff.

Hi Joe,
you should be fine with that cpu and ram. I don't know what the problem is,
perhaps other background tasks are taking up some of the computer's resources.

could this be a synchronize issue between the two tracks? Could you
for instance, replicate the problem in reaper?
Thanks

Multiquence is not accessible at all.
For professional purpuses, Jonathan is right, gold standard is Sonar.
But otherwise, don't forget n-track. I've never
used it, however many blind people say that it's a great program.

The short answer to your question is no. Sonar is the way to go for
multitracking.

Not true, Bruce. Programs such as Sonar allow you to, for example, record a
piano track today, a flute track tomorrow, etc. After all tracks are
recorded, you can make changes to each track as you see fit. From there, you
can mix it all down to a wav file, MP3 file or some other format. Now, let's
Sort of. You should really have a dedicated multitrack audio editor. A good
open source and free program is Audacity. The latest beta (1.3.7) contains
accessibility features making Audacity almost accessible with screen
readers.

Multitracking is quite different from mixing items onto the same track. So
the short and only answer is no.

The same can be said about the final product of any project.

As far as I know, no. Audacity does, though.

Brian.
You've misinterpreted me, but I'm not interested in an argument. I was
agreeing with you in the first place and we can leave it at that.
