if you mean it says VEmotion desktop and does not talk any longer,
press shift+tab it says button,

aha...PowerGramo I did never try it, the latest version. I installed
it about one year ago, and then used it for a little time, replaced
by VoiceEmotion

Radio Shack used to have a great telephone recording device for about
$35. Maybe they still do. I use the Internet Phone Wizard which allows me
to use Skype with my regular phone and record Skype calls and regular phone
calls with Sound Forge. The Internet Phone Wizard is $75 here at BA
