You could do the following:
On the BP, start a recording by pushing the record button and leave it in
pause mode.
Place the BP into Monitor Output mode.
With a cable, connect the BP's headphone jack to the mike/line-in on your
computer.
You might have to adjust the settings for this input on your computer.
You might have to adjust the output volume on the BP.
This will allow you to use the BP's external mike as an external mike for
your computer.
