Usually your CD ripper will connect to a DB and prepopulate your ID3
tags for you. What CD ripper are you using?
Also, media library applications, like Winamp and Windows Media
Bye metadata I assume you mean ID3 tag information? If so, in media player,
browse to the track in your library, hit the applications key and select
edit tag.
