Hello Joe, I got the arrows sorted out, but I just found the preview
button is not there when I am in the open sound dialog. Is there a way

Samuel,
I think the preview button is gone. I recall its existence in earlier
versions, but not the latest. Might be worth writing to chris at Goldwave, in
case there
is a way of putting the button back.
I've never used it, but knew it was there.
Kind regards,

Hi Rob
Go into the control properties with F11. Then, look for the volume tab.
After you see the mike volume, there should be an option to check or
uncheck. Don't check it.
Scrolling on, you should see options for stereo mix. Make sure options
and the solution will probably be the same.
Good luck with Goldwave and have fun!
Best regards

Hello,
As to the fast forward and rewind options, set those in the play menu.
My demo version has expired so I honestly can't remember where it is but you
can speed it up to like 5 times the normal speed and it sounds just like a
tape recorder rewinding and fast forwarding.
