hello jason, yes we both have rockbox installed on a sandisk mp3 player. i have the c240 and my wife has the c250. you shouldn't have any trouble installing rockbox so long as you set the USB mode to msc first. i've been using rockbox for about six years now and also have it installed on an archos and iriver mp3 player and have never had any problems with it. i would make sure you download the rockbox and voice file from the daily build page of the rockbox website as these will be the versions with the most features. and they can have quite big differences in them from day to day. for example when i first installed the rockbox version for the sandisk about six weeks ago i found that although the main mp3 player was working and speaking ok it wouldn't recognise a micro SD card when i put it in the expansion slot. at first i thought it was a problem with my player but decided to wait a while and then update the rockbox files. so about 3 weeks ago i updated to the latest daily build of the rockbox files and found that that not only had that problem been solved so my card is recognised everytime i slot it in but there were a lot of extra speaking features for the main machine that had been added.
