I've had problems with invalid keys with Victor Reader Soft from RFBD
also. I've even had two cases where it would work for a while then one day
it would tell me that my key was invalid. Contacting RFBD about this wasn't
particularly easy between leaving messages and waiting for phone calls
Hi,
I called rfbd and after trying several authorization keys finally got a working
one. The woman I talked to told me the user name and the key must be typed in
caps which I didn't know. She also asked me for the hardware fingerprint before
she gave me the new key(s).
So now victor is working
I've had the same problem. I've been trying to contact RFB&D since
thanksgiving by phone and EMAIL but haven't gotten a responce. If you should
happen to contact them and get a response could you let me know what it is.

Hello Everyone,
Okay, I bought victor readersoft from rfbd and went through the registration
process which, I was told, was successful. But when I try to start the app I
get a message that the user name and/or key isn't valid.
Has anyone else seen this problem with vrs? How did you resol
Well, I'll be able to give a more objective evaluation of Victor Reader
Soft soon, as I have purchased it. CNIB does not copy-protect its CD's,
and RFB&D won't loan them to Canada, so I won't have to mess with all that
rights management stuff.

It's true Bruce! All the annoying disclaimer nonsense is RFBD stuff.
Not only do you get the usual disclaimer in the book but now you get it each
time Victor Reader starts. This wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that
Victor Reader Soft is not the most stable program in the world and I o
A lot of what you're referring to, too, is RFBD-specific, not Victor
Reader Soft specific.

I use the RFBD Victor Reader Soft.
! I've had installation problems on two different computers but RFBD always
straightened them out. You're only allowed two simultaneous installations.
! When using a book that has been produced on more than one CD there's no
good way to get the whole thing
Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering what sort of experiences you've had with the Victor ReaderSoft
currently being sold by RFBD? I'm thinking of buying a copy but don't want
to put out the $79 unless it's worth it to do so.
How easy is this reader to use?
Will I be able to read
