Peter! "What you hear" is a Sound Blaster thing and not a Windows
thing. If you don't have a Sound Blaster then you won't have "What you
hear". Do you see something called "Mixer" or "Stereo Mixer"? It's the
same thing.

Hi, Peter. what you hear is under recording controls in volume control, the
same as it has been in 98 or me. Make sure it's checked in the list view
when you go to properties in volume control. You'll see a set of radio
buttons that says adjust volume for playback and one for record. select the
