Hi, The free Winamp takes a long time to rip by design. Winamp pro will take forever to rip unless you make sure you have all visualization stuff uninstalled, and that you're using the classic skin, not the modern skin. I finally got it to rip, but the mp3's it produces are sometimes a bit skippy

Winamp takes for ever to rip

I find that Winamp takes such a long time to rip tracks. I believe all the settings are correct, particularly the one that allows max rip speed. Perhaps there are some other settings that I have not found that are relevant. Peter S. ___ PC-Audio List H
