CDex will do this and several other formats and is FREE to boot! So will Goldwave and many others but the free one is probably what you want and is very accessible and easy to use. CDex also ripps CDs and you can save the tracks in several different file formats. B B Roger aad leeflang

Switch can do this. It comes as trialware, but after the trial period, you can still use it for free with some limitations. I would guess that converting MPG files would still work. Note that it won't break DRM. You can find out more on Switch from the FAQ, including a link to download the
