Hi all, I'm trying to record using audacity through my sound card to record my stream but what happens is that when I hit record jaws starts going rrrrr and starts taking off like a jet. No matter if I use mono or sterio mix jaws does liftoff when pressing record, I'm serious that's what it really sounds like. My sound card is a soundmax digital audio. Any ideas of what could be going on? If audacity isn't good for recording through the soundcard can you recommend an audio recorder that is?
