I have been using a PS3 as a blue ray player for the last year or so.
The player is slightly bigger than the standard set top box and it has
2 buttons only, eject and on/off.
I bought a sony remote to control it and this works fine but does
depend on how much sight you have. I say this

If you've seen the receiver of a Bose Lifestyle system, then that's what a
PS3 is like. Now, as for controlling it, yes you can from the remote, and
