input in to my soundcard for now, and i am not bothering with
ezconverter. i will go back to that some other time. at present i am
using soundforte to convert my files. brian.

That cassette deck can be used two different ways.
You can use it with the USB interface.
Or, you can use the RCA out jacks to run it strait in to your sound card.
Which enables you, to use any audio editing software you want to use.
