Hello Randy! May be your microphone was muted or it is not yet configure. To check weather it is configure or not, do the following: 1. Open volume control. Usually, it is located at start menu, All Programs sub menu, Accessories sub menu, Entertainment sub menu, and press V, for Volume control.
