They have. When you install SF9 it is installed after the main Sound
Forge
components. You actually see the installer come up for Noise Reduction
2.0.
It is version 2.0E. It is invoked from the Tools menu of SF9.

I've never been clear: is the sF Noise Reduction plug-in which used
to be available separately the same as SF Noise Reduction 2.0 which
now seems to be a part of the Sound Forge package?

Yes, that is correct. This alone is worth the upgrade if you already don't
own that plugin.

Well, I'm strictly guessing, but considering that the noise reduction plug-in
is version 2.0B then my guess is that the SF Noise Reduction 2.0 is probably
the same bird.
