press p for programs in start menu, press A for accessories, right arrow,
down arrow to entertainment, in their you will find volume ctrl.

hello friends, recently i have had problems with my skype, i decided to
update the version i had, everything went fine until i tried to make a skype
call, and i discovered that everything is practically down to zero in
volume, where can i find the volume control to bring it up to where it used

I just had this problem. My solution was to find and install the
updated driver for my laptop's sound card. I was relieved it was
that easy because the problem was pretty disconcerting; Skype is
useless in that condition.

I just installed Skype version 3.0. When attempting to call the call
testing service the program appears to launch two simultaneous calls to the
skype test. I get two test announcements as well as two repeats of me testing.

In skype, go to tools, options, and then to the sounds cattegorry in
the list. you can set all your sounds there.
