Hello,
I was looking for advice/direction on if and how to connect speakers from a
5.1 home theater/DVD system.
I only want to hook up the four surroundsound speakers to my computer. The
speakers are made by Sony and were prepackaged with the DVD player and sub
Woofer.
My computer is a Dell

Sun Sparkle! I don't know these particular speakers but I guess they
are not powered, don't have an amplifier build into them.
The speakers need to be connected to an Amplifier. Then you only need
run a cable from the Line Level output of the Sound Card to a Line Level
