Even easier is vlc media player. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Now keep in mind this program is if you want to listen to a dvd and use the menus of the dvd. If you want to rip a dvd then other programs will help you. I personally like free so I go with dvd decrypter and dvd shrink.
