I'm sure that sound forge is very good, but gold wave is inexpensive and
very easy to use. I bought it because of its low cost. I mixed the mp3
files of a 500 page book with various kinds of background music without
really knowing what I was doing. I am not a computer wizard, and my
results could probably be improved upon. I had never done anything like it
before, and my feeling is that if I can do it, so can everyone else. If
you're looking for something that's easy to use, gold wave is the way to go.
