If memory serves, this may be related to the bug where Solaris kindly
changes which authentication protocols it tries to use because of an
on-board encryption engine.
Change the order of the protocols putty uses to connect with or ssh from
a Linux box and reconfig the sshd_conf?

Co. considered adding a check in the README to skip patches that must be
applied in single mode, or does the --noreboot switch cover that
