Thank you for your interest in our draft and for your questions. If some
operators have already implemented some validation check, it means that it is
really necessary to enhance validation, and it needs to be standardized to
achieve:
Devices from different vendors can achieve the same validation behavior.
Achieve the intercommunication between the controller and the device (via BGP
SR Policy, PCEP SR Policy, BGP-LS SR Policy, etc.)
If there are some other verification parameters that we have not covered yet,
we can discuss it to determine whether it is necessary to add it to the draft
for policy enhancement.
