at least on windows, pd is already a standalone application. you don't need to install it to a predefined location and it has no further dependencies (besides a working operating system). so, you can easily build your own standalone application with your own patches and a .bat-file as a start-scri

Actually, I am just wrapping up support for embedding the preferences file (org.puredata.pd.plist) into the Pd.app. Then you can modify the icon, etc. and embed your patch. Then double-clicking that app will launch Pd and your settings form that file, which could include loading an embed
