(Sorry, had a couple of days off)
I actually meant what Roman pointed out, but I wrote it in horrible english.
However, I do agree with you that both aspects are complementary.

Hello all,
maybe somebody could bring me some lights about this:
I want to jam with some piezos and coil mics, I could get a cheap M-Audio
Quattro or similar (no pre amp included) and all this into Pd for some
processing.
What would be better:
1. to get or build some hardware preamps or
2. to

I had a similar error in osx10.6.
Did you find a workaround? Could you ever record a sequence of snapped
pixes into a video file?
thanks

Hello everyone,
I'm running pd on Ubuntu here, and it looks like there's a limit of ten
different paths on the path menu.
Is this true? How can I get more than these?
Also, is it possible to export the path list somehow?
Thanks!

Hello
I am working with [pix_snap] and its running quite good.
In the attachment you will find a test-patch i build out of help-files.
While playing around with [pix_snap]i noticed, that its quite important,
to have different gemheads for the parts where you do something
to the source-signal and
this one works on windose
hope it helps

Thank you Peter and der.brandt for the patches.
Your test patches work (and so do some variations of them that make them
essentially similar to what I'm trying to do): I'm trying to find out
what's different in my patch; at the moment I can't find any significant
difference I'll let you
Hi,
I've found a thread about this issue in the archives but no solution.
When you use [pix_video] followed by [pix_movement], you get either a
white frame or a black frame every once in a while.
In Windows I see black-frame flickering, while in Mac I have seesn
frame-identity flickering.
I have some some drum sample, step sequencers, and pattern saving patches if
you want.

Hello
Hi,
I think I've found what triggers the problem (and avoiding it I can get
things to work fine).
It seems to happen when these things happen in this order:
1) The [gemhead] driving the [pix_snap] and [pix_record] is disabled
(via a 0 message) _before_ the gemwin is created (for example, at
Well, then i just wouldn't worry about a pre-amp.
What is a 3 bridges guitar by the way?

Thanks Pierre,
what i want to do is to get some noises through these coil mics and amplify
some objects with piezo mics, no recording here, I mean
I once constructed a live setup in keykit to make laptop music on the fly
with a live band. It's not easy to do well (you really come to respect how
difficult it is to replicate the expressiveness of a traditional
instrument). taptempo will work in a live setting, but there are a few
tricks that
